Day 6: Keeping It Legal

We have been doing a lot of demolition on the old house and have started digging the hole for the new foundation, but, before we can start building anything, we needed the building permit to keep things legal. Day six was the day! I finally got my permit. 

I should have probably cropped this picture...cropped my extremely tired face right out of it! But then you wouldn't see the excitement on my face. One thing I've learned through this process is that it is pointless to do my hair, because I need to have two showers a day to function: one in the morning to wake up and one when I get home to wash the inch thick grime off my skin. It's dirty job, but someone's gotta' do it!
