Days 50-59: Demo This, Demo That

Not a lot was accomplished in the following ten days, so I'll start with this adorable picture and the story behind it.

Caleb's absolute favourite treat is a "chocolate egg" (Kinder-surprise). He loves them! He asks for one every time we go to a store...or drive by a store...or have eggs for breakfast (you get the picture?). He's obsessed. I tell you all this to say that although the toys inside are usually great for kids (small, but great), sometimes they're just not okay without supervision. It's a fifteen minute drive between  my house and Mom and Dad's. On the way home in the evening this drive means a sleeping Caleb; however, on the way there it means a mischievous Caleb! That's where the blue lips came from and that's after I scrubbed that cute little face with several wipes.

Day 50: More work on the roof

Day 51: Holiday

Day 52: Kept working on the never-ending roof job.

Day 53: Started ripping out a wall (not really sure where, but any wall will do at this point).

Day 54: Break day!

Day 55: Taught kindergarten, so Dad took Caleb to the house without me.

Day 56: Open houses for Dad and fun day with Caleb and Charlotte for Mama.

Cutest mug-shot I've ever seen.

Day 57: More open houses

Charlotte started eating...this could make things a little harder at the house, but look at that face!

Day 58: Caleb and I tackled this wall in Charlotte's bedroom by ourselves. Dad was hunting and we wanted to get something done.

Not too shabby, huh?

We did such a good job, we moved on to another wall. Actually, I just pulled the wall down and got it wedged in the room so I had to take the other wall down too. I was already planning to do this; don't worry!

Day 59: I forgot the camera today. Keith came to the house and we ripped the wall out where the electrical panel is going to be flipped from the outside of the house, to the inside. We cleaned-up and the plumber started working on the kitchen and bathroom. I added a second sink to the kitchen, which I think will make clean-up a lot easier, because the main sink is so far away from the dining room table.
